Job Summary

The New State Capitol building is the home of the NYS Legislature and Assembly. The buildings construction was completed in 1899 and cost 25 million dollars. It’s been listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been declared a National Historic Landmark.

When New York State made the decision to renovate the Assembly portion of the Capital building, the area’s top contractors were solicited.

Kasselman Electric was responsible for the installation of all the lighting fixture retrofits, and the lighting control devices.
