Kingston High School Addition & Renovation

Education

Job Summary

The Kingston High School expansion, part of a $137.5 million project that was approved by school district voters in 2013, more than doubles the size of the original main campus.

The project included adding 181,400 square feet to the high school campus’ Salzmann building; demolishing the Whiston-Tobin and Myron J. Michael buildings; updating the school’s main building; and making improvements to the Kate Walton Field House.

The expansion of the Salzmann building included the creation of a new main entrance to the school, at the rear of the campus, and a new main lobby that features displays about the school’s history. The new entrance is accessible from Andrew and West O’Reilly streets, on opposite sides of the campus.

Kasselman Electric’s work consisted of electrical distribution, data center, lighting, lighting control, surveillance, and access control systems.
