New York State Dept. of Taxation and Finance

New York State Department of Taxation and Finance was formed in 1927. Its purpose was to disperse the state’s tax revenue to individual counties in a mathematical formula. Today it is responsible for handling all tax forms and publications.

When the Department of Finance outgrew their existing location, the top contractors in the area were called upon for the construction of a new facility.

Kasselman Electric was responsible for all electrical construction including: electrical distribution, lighting, lighting control devices, and fire alarm system.
